Salvation

Salvation is a free gift from God to man.  Man can never make up for his sin by self-improvement or good works. We believe that those who turn from their sin and trust Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior will receive eternal life.  Please read through the steps below to understand more on how to receive the free gift of eternal life. We would love to talk with you about a personal relationship with Jesus.

1. Recognize that I am sinner.
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23

2. Repent of my sin and place my faith in Jesus Christ.
For the sorrow that is according to the will of God produces a repentance without regret, leading to salvation, but the sorrow of the world produces death. 2 Cor. 7:10-11
So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ. Romans 10:17
Solemnly testifying to both Jews and Greeks of repentance toward God and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. Acts 20:21

Understand that Repentance is permanent and progressive, but NOT perfect.

3. Receive the gift of eternal life.
To receive God’s Gift of Forgiveness, Eternal Life, Peace, Love and Jesus Christ as my PERSONAL LORD AND SAVIOR, the Bible promises: If I will repent (turn from my way), follow and trust Jesus, and invite Him into my heart, Jesus will Forgive me of my sins and begin to make me into a new person.

What are the results of repentance and faith?

For Christ also died for sins once for all, the just for the unjust, so that He might bring us to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit.. 1 Peter 3:18
This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. John 17:33

It isn’t just about forgiveness; it is about bringing us to God.
Salvation is knowing God.
When you know God you experience forgiveness and freedom.
