Let's Help MAM Send 20 Kids on a Life Changing Trip!

We're trying to help a team from Memphis Athletic Ministries send 20 kids on a trip of a lifetime!

They need a total $1200 to send 20 kids from their program to New Orleans for a life changing leadership/basketball experience. Most of the kids have never rode on a bus/train before, so this will be a first in many areas!

Detric & April Golden, are the MAM Directors in charge of the Greenlaw Community Center in North Memphis, right by the pyramid.

Detric played for the Tigers back in the late 90's, and instead of going pro he chose to invest back into the city of Memphis. He and his wife (April) are down at the Greenlaw Gym running a day camp for 80 kids everyday from 7am-7:30pm. They've got 4 kids themselves (all girls), and just took custody of a special needs girl that was going to be given to the state. Because they believe so passionately in the program, all their extra money over the past 5 years has gone back into it. They were planning on heading out of town 4 days after they got back from Louisiana for their first family vacation.

Detric told us in passing that if they didn't find the funding, they'd use their vacation money once again to fund the trip.
That simply, cannot happen.

In less than 36 hours, donations came from across TN, IN, MS, TX & WI!
